In the moment I force building on whispering woods because I want to start build questlines there. So if you are interested in helping the project with your skills and idea, just contact me on any way ;)
I will in the future also post more oftne progress here so Facebook and twitter guys also get the infos.
We released a small update of noggit SDL. Our user Vel pointed out that the light rendering on the ground was missing. So you don´t had any shadow effects on the ground, what makes it not easy to edit ground with very monotonous textures. I reactivate the outdoor light rendering and fix some wrong informations in the help menu.
Some of you have probably already heard of Modcraft, but you must wonder who is behind it all.
Today we will bring some light into it.
Modcraft sat down with the goal of extending the borders of the WoW Modding
community. Presented with this goal, we've created our own server project.
Many ambitious people with much skill are already on the team, but everyone with
interest in modding is welcome.
This is our project in which we've been trying to create our own world. A world with its own characters,
items, classes, races, and quests, but above all, it's own story. Our goal is to have everything
built from scratch.
We have already come very far and would like to show you what we have been able to
accomplish.
Our team is still working on the project and making many advancements.
Here is a short overview of our team so far:
Concept ot the game: Jack, Kagul and Eluo
Worldbuilder: Nightblizard, Soluhe, Squabert, Miguel, Eluo and Kagul
Q:What is Modcraft? A:Modcraft is a project to document the doabilities of modding the WoW-Client, as well as creating a demoserver to show what is possible. With this wiki everyone should have the possibility to gain experience on the one hand and on the other hand also to share his knowledge with others. Across this project the WoW-Freeshard scene should be changed more into real freeshards off from Blizzlike-, Highrate or Funserver into real mods.
